Import RSS to node with specific term [#1437834]

I am trying to import an RSS feed and have it create a Forum topic in a specific forum, which I know is just a taxonomy term.

So I have articles on one site, that I'd like to pull in as forum topics for discussion. But I don't see anywhere to pick the term. I get a good import, but it is unassigned to a term, so never shows up.

RSS feed does not have option to add terms, you should use xml import for in this case.

Not everything that you want to import has to be present in the source. If you want to import content for a specific forum, but the source doesn't specify it, you could map a "Blank source" (available when Feeds Tamper is installed) to the forum category. Then use the "Default value" plugin from Feeds Tamper to specify in which category the content to import should belong.
