Could anyone compare Drupal with other CMSs as it has been done at WebGUI developer at http://www.plainblack.com/product_comparison?

Also, is there someone really serious guy with Perl/PHP/Graphics/SiteNavigation knowledge to volunteer the pioneering operational model of webocracy, eParliament.org. We have tested several opensource CMSs but none of them meets our requirement. Interested can get partial information at http://www.eParliament.org.

Thanks!

PS What are the features you need for eParliament, but all CMS systems you tested, lack?

Dear Kika:

Thank you for your comparison. Btw, I feel none of the open-source CMS could provide a satisfactory solution. Most of them are just replicating the works of each other. so sad! Why don't OS CMS people come together and work for a standard platform. I know this should be posted somewhere at cmsinfo.org or somewhere like that, but I take this opportunity as you seem to be quite interested both in OS CMS development (drupal, in particular and eParliament, too). Why don't you visit once to convio.com and see the solutions they have developed and follow a suit in the open source world? To me, drupal seems to be blogger rather than a CMS, if I am not mistaken.

Also, take some time to visit http://www.eParliament.org and write us directly to me by email or add MSN:eParliament@hotmail.com if you want to discuss further. Thank you!

Or put the other way around:

- Why don't you explain what features you are looking for?
- Why don't you implement the missing functionality?

As with all OSS, a perfect feature match is rather rare so willingness to help, extend and contribute is often required.
