I am doing some tests on this matter, and it seems yes, nut I would like to be sure that, in case node_access permissions are enabled, search results only nodes visibile to the actual user.
I took a look at the code, but could not undestand if the logic takes into account the visibility of the nodes while doing the search.

What is the official position on this matter ??
