7.x version

1. Place the module directory as usual (sites/all/modules/contrib/nedstat)
2. Download/Get sitestat.js from Nedstat and place it in the module directory (sites/all/modules/contrib/nedstat)
3. Make sure you have an account with Nedstat
4. Change settings at /admin/config/webanalytics/nedstat

 

6.x version

1. Place the module directory as usual (sites/all/modules/contrib/nedstat)
2. Download/Get sitestat.js from Nedstat and place it in the module directory (sites/all/modules/contrib/nedstat)
3. Make sure you have an account with Nedstat
4. Change settings at /admin/settings/nedstat
5. [Optional] If you want to use softclicks, copy mysoftclicks.js to your themes folder and adapt it

Some remarks
1. All nodes get an extra fieldset Nedstat when you edit them, this allows you to specify the counter name for that node, if you don't specify a counter name, a default counter will be generated: node.(nid).(node title).

2. For all pages that aren't nodes you can visit /admin/settings/nedstat/menu to set the counter name, the first column is the URL of the page, the second is the counter you want. If you don't specify a counter name, the URL will be used as counter name.

3. All pages under /admin are excluded from tracking.
