As can be seen in the attachment, Drupal could turn the information on the Translation Interface Overview into hyperlinks. If the fields (column headers) are defined intelligently, there is lots of information to be gained from the overview. In addition, by clicking on one particular item, Drupal goes to the Search (Translation) page where the appropriate filters are immediately applied.

In the attached example, you see that there are 30 translations missing for the Story types. You click on the link 0/30 (0%) and you are shown the titles of the 30 story nodes that need to be translated. You can start translating those nodes by clicking edit next to the node title.

It would be quite useful to be able to see the percentage of translations by CCK type. For example, one would translate all pages and stories, but translating the forum posts is not necessary. Showing only one percentage for all nodes would then be misleading and not very informative.

Very good ideas! Unfortunately we have no support in 6.x-dev for translating anything but what was already available in Drupal 5. As soon as we have more types of translations to support, it makes sense to add these shortcuts. We are definitely going there!

Because support for user defined content did not get into Drupal 6, recategorizing this for i18n module.
