Bober CreditAttribution: Bober commentedWell we have another problem - it seems that info from wikipedia about sending info about sitemap.xml using HTTP request is not actual.
For now we have responce code 1002 from Yandex after updating sitemap.
Support says that API allow to add new sitemap only through personal account in Yandex.Webmaster
We can only add sitemap.xml file - http://api.yandex.com/webmaster/doc/dg/reference/sitemaps-add.xml seems that only way to ping Yandex for changes in sitemap is to remove/add sitemap using api

Dave ReidYes, I don't believe the pinging functionality is supported by Yandex.
