"Error saving subpage. Please try again."

- that's all I get when trying to add subpage. No other info,
no errors in the log.

Anyway, is there possibility to do the same job with a page
from Views, with Node Reference NID as argument? This
module looks like it does the same job. Doesn't it?

This means that drupal_write_record() failed to write to the node_subpages table. Are there any PHP errors in watchdog? Could you check that the node_subpages table exists in your DB? I wonder if it failed to create that table when you installed the module.

There is no error in watchdog, yes - there is db table, empty.

Core 6.22, Views 6.x-2.16, Subpages both: dev and beta1.
No difference between Views or CCK display option.

I'm not sure what this might be then. If you're working on a site that doesn't have user data in it, would you be willing to send me a dump of the DB so I can test it out and see if I can replicate it? My email address is brock@brockboland.com, or you could put it on Dropbox or something like that. I can't think of a better way to track down what's going on in your case.
