@mollux Thanks for committing the code to 7.x-2.x! I'll give it a test as soon as I can.

In the meantime. Here is a patch that removes trailing whitespace, removes the .patch file and fixes coding standards issues.

thanks for the patch, although I couldn't apply it.
I ran phpcs with Drupal coding standards, and committed the changes, together with some other cleanup/rewrite
