Port Send module to Drupal 7

Hi Any update?

I'm not a developer, but I do work with some - how complex do you think the D7 port will be - what will be the main issues?

I plan to work on this, though I may create a new sandbox for it to be able to track individual commits.

I plan to remove the dependency on mimemail, but otherwise my initial thought is that it will be a pretty straightforward port.

I may remove features that aren't important to me if that makes it easier to port and then I would put the burden of porting those on someone else who needs them.

Amazingly enough I got shifted to something new before I could make much progress. I do hope to get back to this around April/May.

Any update on this please? Also I want to know the difference between this module and the Forward Module.
