It seems that there is no new "Flex Slide" views display mode, and no display style either. I have enabled the submodule, but can't find the display mode.
Btw: Its a bit confusing if its a display mode (like "Block", "Page" etc), or a display style / format (like "Grid", "HTML List", "Jump menu", "Table", etc), that is supposed to be supplied. I guess its the last?

minorOffense CreditAttribution: minorOffense commentedIt would be the latter. You contain a flexslider inside of a block or a page as you would an HTML list or a grid. I guess to properly match the Views UI labels, it would be considered a Display Format.

genjohnson CreditAttribution: genjohnson commentedOk, I think I found what I needed. Under format I set the format to Slideshow (using Views Slideshow) and am showing fields (not content). Then under Slideshow settings I set Slides>Slideshow Type>FlexSlider.
