Open menu link in a new window (target=_blank) [#1377358]

Hi Guys,

My client wants "news" button on the menu tab to open in a new window.
I found this module and thought this would be the best way out for me.
But now when I go menu attribute on admin/build/menu/item and set target attribute to new window & save it, there is no change.
Can someone please guide me out.

Are you using the Megamenu module by any chance? If so, this should be a bug report in their queue which states it's incompatibility with Menu attributes.
