There are some pages where I would love to be able to get pinged when updates occur, ideally via RSS as opposed to email.

For example, there are modules in development where new versions or observations are of great interest to me. Being able to subscribe to an RSS on a forum thread or issue or module page would very much ease the ability of site administrators, developers and users to keep up with topics of interest.

An "honor system" request to keep RSS requests no more frequent than 1 hour (such as what they ask on Slashdot) could keep server demands manageable, while providing a means for us to stay on top of things in which we're involved and/or interested.

I hope you will give my request some consideration.
