when enabling the price table and setting the tables, it doesn't automatically configure the prices once added to cart right? say i created $100 for 5-10. if a user would add 5 quantity the price wouldn't change unless i create a price rule right? im asking this because i dont want the module to automatically configure the price once added to cart.

can I use the commerce price table with rules? also can i use the price table as a entity or stock and not actually the quantity ordered?

The answer to both questions is yes, it takes into account when adding to the cart and you can use any field in rules, this one isn't an exception.
