This module isn't fully compatible with Views 3.
If we could fix this, it would be probably a solution for #1319714: Fields with multiple values are not displayed

Or would it be better to expand http://drupal.org/project/views_data_export with JSON capabilities?
We woud get Batch API integration with it.

What is not compatible specifically? I have been using it with views 3 and so far no complaints.

@PieterDC, it looks like you're complaining specifically about #1319714: Fields with multiple values are not displayed, which is an existing legit issue. That issue will be fixed when issue #1699368: #RVDA: Rewrite Views Datasource's Architecture comes out. Feel free to subscribe to #1699368 for that. If you have any other problems, please open a separate issue and specify the problem. Bear in mind that I will not work with nothing else until #1699368 is complete. Thank you.
