I'm trying to get the contextlinks plug-in to work. But I am getting the literal test returned on the page.

I have: re-downloaded the module from here, I've re-uploaded it to my site, I've deleted and rebuilt the database table, I've verified that the module is turned ON, I've made sure that it is installed, I've tried pasting in the example from here (http://drupal.org/project/contextlinks), and I've tried saving the story in all three formats (filtered HTML, PHP code, and full HMTL).

Please give me an example that I can paste into a page to make sure I'm not screwing up the syntax in some way.

My data:
PHP 4.3.8
Contextlinks 1.1.1
the newest Drupal (downloaded it yesterday)
using clean links
relevant story: http://ransack.foamingmouth.com/node/19 (the contextlink is next to "Hat Tip" below "Ref" between the two "old-fashioned" links)

If the link looks different than the above mentioned examples, it's because I am still messing with it.

Thanks!

The Chairman’s picture

With some other poking around, it seems that any module that is triggered by something being in brackets ([yada yada]) is failing to activate. I don't know if that helps any.

Fixed it. It helps to turn on filters.
