I have installed the Drupal few months ago and also installed some 70 contributed modules. The site was working very good. few days ago i installed metatag module for some reason the configuration page for it was not in the configuration menu. I disabled it and uninstalled it. after that every module i install has a same problem the configuration page for that module is not there. when i install module it installs correctly with out error but when i enable it the browser stops with white screen of death and the url is module/list/confirm.

what is the problem. help

What is you max memory setting, it sounds like your setting is too low.

my memory is 128 MB.

I think its not memory problem. before i installed metatag every thing was ok.

I'm having the same problem. It wasn't after installing metatag though because I don't have that module on my site. Everytime I enable/disable module, bam, white screen. It does what I ask usually, but it always gives me errors after submitting. One thing that sometimes works for me is to clear the caches a few times. Then later on, the configuration options will appear.

my problem is resolved by increasing the memory limit for mysql from 128 to 512.
you too should try this.

ps. anyway, then I'v tried to clear the cache and configurations of newly added modules appeared! I hope this will work also in the future!
