How is this any different to http://drupal.org/project/securepages which has been around for a long while ?

coltraneThanks for asking. securepages module redirects specific pages to HTTPS while this module redirects any authenticated user on any page to HTTPS if and only if they visit on HTTP. Drupal 7 securepages has support for role-specific redirect, but still needs the user to be authenticated.
I'll note this on the project page.
