There is currently no means by which to show both the summary and non-summary text in the full entity view. This is a regression, as both could be shown together in D6.
In other words, Text with summary should be in core.
Other than using that module, the less-than-optimal solution is to create a separate field called "Summary" and show both of them.

colanNot necessary, just get #1378350: Clean up the "Long text and summary" field done. Use two different fields.

PanchoReopened as it remains unclear whether the more radical - and I'd say unnecesssarily drastic - approach #1378350: Clean up the "Long text and summary" field really is what we want.
+1 for this one here, and as a regression, it might even be considered as bug to be backported to D7.

escoles CreditAttribution: escoles commentedI'm not understanding what the relationship is between those two issues. They don't seem to address the same use-cases: One is about the create/edit page form, the other is about how you display the data to end users. Am I missing something?

pameeela CreditAttribution: pameeela commentedYou can do this now in 8/9 via Layout Builder, by adding the body field to the display twice with different formatters, once with Default and once with Summary or Trimmed. Since that's in core I'm going to mark this outdated.
