changing root folder

I needed to change the location of my root directory from example.com/ drupal 7.7/ mysite to example.com/mysite. I upgraded from Drupal 7.7 to 7.9 and switched the location and ran update.php. Now I cannot access my Danland front page and admin, however, my blog pages appear. Is there a way to point to the new location of my front page?
