I just installed the latest version. I am able to create new galleries but am not able to add image via Add Media button in Firefox 7.0.1 but it works perfectly fine in IE.

Did some researched in google and found people having same issue with drupalgarden and media gallery. Drupal garden rolled out a fix for this but didn't say what.

Any hints on how to fix this issue?

I assume you're using Plupload to handle the uploads?

If so, you can fix this by updating your site to use the latest version of the Plupload JavaScript library; see e.g. #1313412: Error: Invalid file extension in Firefox 7.0.1 for more information.

You need to update the library itself too, not just apply the patch.

Did that also, Downloaded the latest library from plupload.com and placed them in sites/all/library folder.

Just to confirm that now I am using firefox 8. Maybe that's the issue.
