Seeing as services has had a full non-beta release of 3.0 for over a full month now it might be time to dust away those cobwebs on this module and get it out of alpha! I'm willing help if need be with patches or otherwise.

Heh, way overdue. I'm fine with releasing as is. If someone else has tested this code - RTBC it.
