When creating a new form using webform i'm finding that it 'forgets' the data entered into the confirmation field and the submission email address.
It remembers all the other data fine.
I have just upgraded the webform.module because of the major bugfix to allow non-admins to submit the forms., so i'm using the latest version from the CVS of the 4.5 branch.
any help appreciated
thanks
steve

webfanatic CreditAttribution: webfanatic commentedI was having a similar problem. I created another webform and the new one seems to be working fine. I never did figure out what was wrong with the old one so I deleted it.

(not verified) CreditAttribution: commentedI had/have a similar problem. The first Webform created does not store it's confirmation message. If you try and save it without one it reminds you. However when you re-edit, or submit the form, no Confirmation message is visible or retained.
This does not seem to occur on the second and subsequent Webform I have created which both displays and persists it's Confirmation message data.
I have two forms in existence on my site now and am able to catagorize which was created first by this characteristic alone. ie they behave differently.
I do as follow:
create contant -> webform
Enter a
Title
Checking all role check boxed
Description
Confirmation message
E-mail address
Adding one textfield component
Pressing submit
Go back to edit to verify that the infomation is still there
The result of the last step depends on which form I look at. The form that was initially created, fails.

jnt CreditAttribution: jnt commentedfurther to my last anonymous posting, I have now deleted the first created form (which was not persisting confirmation data) and left the second (and now only webform). This form is text identical to the previous but continues to work as it should. There is now is only one webform on my site and the problem is no longer apparent.
This issue was actually why I came to this forum, so thanks all for identifying a workaround, specifically: Create another form.
