There is one mistake in commited patch at #571800: Make i18n behave fine with Panels 3 node add/edit override - content type names are not translated in menu "Add content" and on the page "node/add". It can be easily fixed. I will send a patch soon.

Here is the patch. Value of variable page_manager_node_edit_disabled should be checked inside a loop.
