Is it possible to use a profile as a group? I have a site with two types of profiles, one for single persons and one for groups. Because the single persons can be members of the groups I want to use OG. It would be interessting if it's possible to make a group out of the group profile. Otherwise the user (group maintainer) registers with the group profile and must then create the group (OG). Possible, but not so nice.
Thanks in advance!

designcontext CreditAttribution: designcontext commentedOk, I got it, but could it be that this is not so easy done like with nodes?
I've got a few questions:
- I have a field where to choose if the profile should be a group, but I always want the profile to be a group. How can I hide this from the user?
- I don't have a "group-tab" where the owner of the profile/group can manage the group.
- Is it right that the views don't work with profiles?
- How can I integrate my own views in the panel group/profile layout?
- I could not get the subscription link in panels - Where can I find it?
- Can I integrate this link without panels directly in the template?
Thanks so much!!!

designcontext CreditAttribution: designcontext commented3 hours later... I think the big problem is the group tab, which is not in the profile. So there is no possibility to manage the group.
There is also a problem when subcribing to a group: after clicking "join" there is an site not found-error.
