I have tried adding a filter for both taxonomy term ID, and the term-reference field value to the OpenLayers Data Overlay - neither are respected.
Similarly, adding a contextual filter for taxonomy term, taxonomy term id, and the term-referece field value to the data display also has no effect on the result set.
