Very interested in this project. Just wondering if there is going to be any type of release for this project any time soon or a road map of tasks that need to be accomplished first. Thanks.

Thanks for reminding me of this.

I have now promoted modal forms to a full project and made a 7.x-1.0 release.

This will hopefully make more people aware of the module.
