I just got this as well. Using 7.x-2.0 version of Kaltura module.

KalturaException: Service "permission" does not exists in KalturaClientBase->throwExceptionIfError() (line 434 of /home/...../public_html/sites/all/modules/contrib/kaltura/kaltura_client/KalturaClientBase.php)

Just installed the Kaltura module on my drupal 7 test install. I had started setting up the configuration settings. Put in the info for my CE server, made sure crossdomain.xml was where it was supposed to be and got 3 green checks on the initial Kaltura config page (General tab).

Clicked on the second tab (Kaltura settings) and got this error. I seem to be able to import videos and fiddle around with the other tabs, but as soon as I click the Kaltura settings tab, this "permission" error re-occurs.

Let me know if I can provide any more information.
