'search for term' missing in /glossary/term with descriptive article

'search for term' shows up for glossary items not having a descriptive article (i.e., not attached to any nodes)
it's missing for glossary items having a descriptive article

i refer to the screen that pops up when you click on the glossary item indicator in a node.
