add new content/child page on top

My site http://vision4life.in have many book pages. After adding one child page, have to click on UP button that will bring the list of childpages (Main book page), again click on Add Child button to create a new child page. To click on these 2 buttons, have to scroll down. For basic and other content types - have to click on Content menu, click Add content to add new contents. This is really time consuming. It will be more easy, if the following feature is added :

Add New Content, UP and Add child page buttons should be on the top, above Title.
When clicking Add New Content, it can give a combo box (pull down menu) to select Content Type.
It may save time in loading different main pages to add a content.
If the current page is a Book page, clicking on add child page can allow to add a child page in that book, also can give option to select any Book (combo box). It may save time, load on server to load main book page every time while creating child pages.

This idea came into my mind, I dont know whether it is feasible or not.
