i originally posted this #1287318: can i use multiple images from a single field [NOT multiple deltas of a multifield] but possibly if i do some odd things with my custom field and make it act like simply a multi-filed with each instance having 1 img (i.e. like a std img field); then my problem is possibly simpler?

the question would then become is it possible to merge images from more than 1 field into a single slideshow?
