how to recreate problem:
create node type with image
add extra language
try generate this image node(s) with devel generate and pickup this "extra" language
resutl: images will not generate

note: if you pick up language neutral there is no problem
note2: as far I remember thre problem is in d6 as well

moshe just committed #1292294: Respect field translatability when generating content, otherwise it gets lost the other day (for D7), which may have fixed this.
