Hello from a Drupal newbie. I will be overhauling at least a portion of this site and I am thinking Drupal will be excellent for it: http://www.rmanyc.org/home.cfm .

Each of the sections (Collections, Exhibitions, Programs, etc) has its own banner and left-side secondary navigation. Since each section would have its own banner, would the Drupal model be suppress the site name and then apply a block with the Education banner to all the Education pages, a Collections banner to all the Collections pages, etc?

Thank you!
David

You might even be able to hijack the site name with the section name. I would, however, consider leaving the site name on ALL pages, for search engine friendliness. You can put your section name as a sub-heading (perhaps by replacing the site-slogan).

The secondary navigation is fairly simple. (look at the "Products" page at http://streamlinefencenc.com)
