Seems like, when instaling new modules, the "Book page" creation posibility disapeared from Create content (node/add). The book type remains in other places, like Containers. If i force a creation writing (node/add/book) i get no title or body, I get a error at creation and it becomes a container. In the database book remains in the "node_type" table. How can I recerate the add book function?

Are you using the Category module (not the built in one)? That does something to books (and taxonomy), so that you can no longer create them directly, instead you create Categories and Containers.
