Can only set mandatory status by column (nested elements).
It would be nice to be able to set the mandatory status by row instead.

@aaronng383: what is your use case, what do you want to do:

  1. mark x rows as mandatory
  2. mark rows 1 and 3 as mandatory
  3. ...

It would be nice for fixed layouts when there are more options than column names (and the orientation needs to be reversed).
See attachment for example, some of these could be mandatory, not all need to be.

In this respect, it would also be necessary to allow changes in field type based on row.
For instance, I'd sure like to put a Date on the Date rows, but cannot.

Marking rows as mandatory is something that still needs investigating, all ideas/proposals are welcomed.
