As soon as I activate the jquery update module in D7 the module filter doesn't work anymore. No one of the tabs/blocks can be activated, the search/filter field is broken too.

I figured out, that my bug report isn't correct and related to module filter. Sorry for that. I try to catch the problem, but it is for sure another module.

for future reference - an js error in admin menu was the problem.

I have the same problem today. I installed jQuery update and module broke down. Then in jquery update, admin part I selected different JQuery version for admin part (not the 1.10 but 1.8) and it started working again.
