For those who have worked with the Event module in any of its various versions, can you take a look at the following site and let me know how their event pages was created? Was it with the Event module or some sort of custom module?

I'm looking to produce a similar output, in terms of layout and content displayed in that I only want to show:

1. date - only range of dates; no specific start and end times
2. name of event and brief description; clicking on title will lead to full node page
3. venue/location

The event module by default lets one view events by month, week, day, and a list format IIRC. I thought the list format would work, but it doesn't really come close. On top of that, it appears I cannot have duplicating event titles, or at least nodes with the same title. Maybe I should look into some sort of customized module? Your thoughts are much appreciated.
