Hello,

I've added a new permission to admin/reports/updates at admin/settings/config_perms and I can see it at permission page but when I enable it nothing happens .

I've rebuid general node permissions: admin/content/node-settings and "display site building menu" and "display site configuration menu" are enable too for the target role...

Any idea?

The module has nothing todo with node permissions. It targets the menu system

So try to rebuild the menu (can be done with devel or going to the module page)
