Sorry to be that guy but is there any chance of a D7 port on the radar at all?

Sounds like the perfect solution for added functionality of the Content Access module.

You can 'disable SQL rewriting' in Drupal 7 to accomplish the same effect. See 'query settings' under 'other' when editing the Views display.

Cheers leendertvb!

If the maintainer doesn't intend/need to port this to D7 due to leendertvb's comment in #4, could they possible put up a quick message on the module page to this effect? Saves those searching for this functionality some time :) Cheers!

Status: Active » Closed (fixed)

In Views there is already option to do that.
Edit the view, and in Advanced find Query settings, then you'll find the option to: 'Disable SQL rewriting'.

Disabling SQL rewriting will disable node_access checks as well as other modules that implement hook_query_alter().

This checkbox saved my day! I was working on a view with aggregated Organic Groups 1.x fields and some complex relationships, but couldn't get the view visible for all user roles. Thanks Leendert and kenorb!!

I just thought I'd be that guy who points out this works in Drupal 8 as well (Advanced, Query Settings, Disable SQL rewriting

Just in case anyone else, like me, is looking to make content premium...!
