Ckeditor disappears after files are uploaded from the server

If I uploaded or downloaded my files from the server ( before my git setup ) the ckeditor would disappear. I am not sure why but for some reason i uninstalled and then reinstalled it and it worked. this was a bit of a hassle because I then lost all my settings. It turns out all I had to do was uncheck the role and then enable it again and it worked.

So if anyone is having this issue maybe give that a try before you uninstall it.
