I'm upgrading a site from Drupal 5 to Drupal 6. I upgraded to the latest version of D5 date and calendar before moving to D6. I've watched the Arlin Sandbulte calendar setup video and have followed the procedures correctly, no error messages, as far as I can tell. I have the event type's 'from' datestamp in both argument and fields. But October 13 is appearing in the June 18 space, for example. I created a new event to test it, set it for July 11-12, 2011, and it showed up in today's field, June 30. I thought maybe the events were appearing in last updated position, but that doesn't seem to be true either. I took out the default sort criteria, but it made no difference.
I really apppreciate any help you can give me. This is the last piece before the site goes live.

jn2 CreditAttribution: jn2 commentedThe dates that appear on the month calendar page do not correlate to the dates in the calendar block. No links appear in the block for June, but 6 events appear in the page. In May the 5 links that appear link to nothing. I went through all the debugging steps, no change. Cleared caches, resaved everything.
The event datestamp field uses a custom format: F (full month) j (no leading zeros), YYYY.
Here's the query:
Edited: Why is that vid thing in there? I did an experiment, creating a new field using date rather than datestamp, then creating a calendar clone that uses only that field as argument, and a new event with data in that field. The new event is showing up on the month page display on the date created (not date of the event), which is also the most recent revision. Not only that, but all events are appearing on the date of last revision. In the calendar block, the correct event days are showing, but link to a blank day (I have 'link to node' set). I can't find a place to add or remove the vid. Maybe that's not the problem, but it's the only anomaly I see.
Edited again:
Okay, I figured out why the page view was not behaving correctly. I had not changed the path for each of my clone tests, so they were all going to the second clone. So looks like I can manually add a new field and get the calendar to work that way. But I'd really prefer to get the original datestamp field to work.
jn2 CreditAttribution: jn2 commentedWell, the path thing seemed to fix a lot of problems somehow. My third clone is now using the datestamp field to create the links, but it's altering the days by a day. An event that should be July 18-22 shows as July 17-21. The first link on the calendar block (in the example, July 17) links to a blank calendar page, but the other links show the event.
The previous D5 block calendar linked directly to the node, not to a day page that links to the node. Is there some way to do that?
jn2 CreditAttribution: jn2 commentedDiscovered why the days were off by one. It was a timezone problem.
So my last remaining problem is how to link the date links in the block calendar to the node, not the day calendar page. Is that possible?

arlinsandbulte CreditAttribution: arlinsandbulte commented#3:
No I don't think that is possible because there can be multiple nodes on any given day.

Neslee Canil PintoThe D6 branch is no longer supported so we're closing this issue. If you think this issue still exists in D7 you can open a new one.
