How to control Calendar View content

I have fugured out how to add fields to the view and then have that data show up in the calendars, nut I don't ssem to have any further control over that content.

Do I need to edit the module? Can I theme this content somehow?

I would also like to control which content shows up in year, month, week, and day views independently from each other. Right now only the title and a start/end number or the words all day shows up in the week view. In the month view and day view the title, that same number, and any additional filter info shows up.
