Hi,
I recently upgraded my drupal installation from 4.0 to 4.1. I ran the update.php script and that worked fine. Just about everything else works ok, but the contents from the old forums has disappeared.
I created a taxonomy with the same names as the old forum topics, but still nothing.
How can I recover the old forums? (I do have a backup of the db btw.)
PS: Huge thanks to the Drupal developers - love it!

Forum vocabulary
Not sure about this, but perhaps the setting for which vocabulary acts as a forum container was lost. Try setting it to the old one again in the site configuration.
Vocab not in 4.0
Thanks UncConeD (like the theme btw!)
The vocab (taxonomy) setting you mention for the forum was only introduced in 4.1 AFAIK - it certainly wasn't in 4.0.
So it's not that. I have a valid taxonomy associated with the forum, and the names match the old forum titles from 4.0. I've checked the db and the nodes with the old forum content are still there, they just don't show up. I'm now trying to figure out how it all hangs together, to resurrect the old forum postings.
Any advice would be great right now...! TIA!
