I have a similar problem to one I have read about. It's here: http://nudaveritasmusic.com.

I updated the theme and now I cannot access my admin panel. I have read about clearing my caches but I don't know how to do that without access to my admin panel.

PLEASE let me know soon so I can update my shows. Thanks!!

P.S. I'm a total novice user. I know how to change colors and graphics in the style sheet, but anything beyond that I'm a moron. Layman's terms, please.

Rather than clear the cache tables in the DB , since you aren't familiar with how to do so.

Delete the current theme folder. This should get you a working site albeit a site with no css and no themeing. This should give you the ability to get to the admin area, clear the cache and set another theme as the theme to use.

The recommended version of slate to be used is 3.0-beta1
