Im having problems getting advanced-forum.naked.submitted.tpl.php to override the module when placed in my zen subtheme.
The subtheme works otherwise and have checked by fiddling with page.tpl so the subtheme it is set up ok, its just this override.
The changed .tpl file has the correct changes as I temporarily put it in its original place in the AF module and it works.
I have put a copy of advanced-forum.naked.submitted.tpl.php in the zen templates directory aswell but no joy.
I have put an altered copy of advanced-forum.naked.submitted.tpl.php in the zen theme switched to that and no joy.
I put an original copy of advanced-forum.naked.submitted.tpl.php in the zen folder and tried the sub theme but no joy.
I am wondering if I need to put the source? tpl file from which the tpl is derived in the zen folder as well but what file would that be? It is not named "advanced-forum-submitted.tpl"?

OK as I write this and test it seems the problem is not be the subtheme.......just the override.

Any ideas?

All D7 and newest modules on local machine.

Thank you troky! :o)

I did search for a couple of hours but that did not turn up due to the file names are quite different.

So for anyone else the solution on the other thread was

Try one of the following:

1. /naked/advanced-forum.naked.author-pane.tpl.php
2. /advanced-forum-author-pane.tpl.php "

So in my case I took the second approach and changed the file name of advanced-forum.naked.submitted.tpl.php to advanced-forum-submitted.tpl.php and hey presto!

I actually had to do a little of both form #3 because of a wonky errors when I tried to used variables available in node.tpl.php files. So using /naked/advanced-forum-author-pane.tpl.php worked best. I am also using an AdaptiveTheme subtheme so the real directory is templates/naked/advanced-forum-author-pane.tpl.php. If that helps anyone.

  1. /naked/advanced-forum.naked.author-pane.tpl.php - didn't work
  2. /advanced-forum-author-pane.tpl.php - caused the error
  3. /naked/advanced-forum-author-pane.tpl.php - fit the bill
