Need to update the text to determine whether the parent is a league or division, and modify the label accordingly.

Ideally, it would be nice to determine the division parent, and include that in the notification as well.

Hi jthorson!

I have an idea but i am needing to check some modules.

You are talking about the ULT D7 Version actually and it's giving me the idea to maybe have an email interface where you use tokens to personnalize the messages, it would be better than needing to write the email directly in the code with no possibility to change it no?

I will see what is possible or not in drupal 7 :)
