I have this option turned off:
Enable the debugging (placeholder) blocks for theme development & debugging.
However, the placeholders still display on taxonomy subdomains. I am using the subdomain module:

himerus CreditAttribution: himerus commentedThis is because using the subdomain module (I'm assuming very similar to domain access) creates an alternate set of settings for each domain/subdomain/whatever, this means there is potentially a duplicate of the form where that should be enabled.
This feature is properly disable(able) in 3.x versions of Omega, and should be with any module enabled.
if this is still happening in a 2.x subtheme, I'd recommend upgrading your subtheme as 2.x is no longer supported, and I (anyway) feel this issue definitely lies with the subdomain module in some way.
