The Synchronize with account functionality does not appear to be working in the 2.0-alpha2 version of simplenews. I use blocking and unblocking extensively on my site but it appears to have no effect as to whether they are active or inactive on the subscription list. I am not sure yet if this is the case when a user is deleted as well. I hope there is a quick and easy solution to this.

I just tested with the alpha2 version, blocking a user inactivates it in the subscription list correctly, no issue for me.
Could you eventually have another module acting on user operations and messing things up (a profile-related module, or something like that) ?
