In Drupal 7 appearance page, it says:
Chameleon 7.x-1.x-dev
Minimalist tabled theme with light colors.
This version is not compatible with Drupal 7.x and should be replaced.

According to instructions here, http://drupal.org/node/785714
it can be fixed by pasting in
regions[content] = 'content'
to the chameleon.info page. (For example, right below the other regions[] lines.)

Worked for me; maybe at some point this line can be added to the theme itself.

This really should be fixed in the theme. Users should not have to hunt up the fix!
