allow for a separate popup for each event

along with some other customizations that I have already implemented (show popup on hover & allow users to drag window on the screen), my client would like to have a separate pop up window for each event and have each popup stay on the screen until they click the close button.

the previous customizations were pretty simple which made it very easy for me since i am not very experienced with javascript. I did some preliminary searching for how to create a new div for each event but nothing seems to be working.

any tips to head in the right direction?
