Users will receive this error if they attempt add Opentok content without configuring the module.

Reproduce:

  • Opentok module installed
  • Opentok module NOT configured
  • Content type created/modified with Opentok CCK field
  • Attempt to add content to the Opentok content type

Workaround: Simply configure the module.

Enter your Opentok API Key & Secret into the Opentok module configuration. If you do not have an API key, go here:

To Do:

  • Add in some warnings for unconfigured modules
    • When adding to a content type and not configured
    • When creating content and not configured
  • Include link to API request page on the Opentok configuration page

I agree with all of this. Most people will get very frustrated without warnings and built-in documentation in place. This will be my next priority.
